I just realized I never finished updating the cars page of my website (click the cruising link at the top of the page 😉 ). With the boredom that I have available to me tonight, I will update the page. Here is the first car to go on the page: my 2005 Scion xB.
This car will forever hold a special place in my heart. It was my first car and my first heavily modified vehicle. I have never driven this thing stock. I made the mistake of getting the “mod bug” before hopping in the car, turning the key, and driving somewhere was even an option. I had a stereo setup installed by the time I had a driving permit. From there, things…well…got much, much worse. Almost six years, an amount of money that I never want to fully sum up, and much learning later, it has: full air suspension, a wiretuck, suede interior, one of 4 known sets of tail lights in the country, dvd player touch screen, and more modifications that I will list after the break.
If you talk to any modern import guy, one thing we all have in common is the obligatory ricer stage we all started out at. Well, this is what I started with. Luckily, I killed this off maybe 1-2 months after driving it. There was no way I was being seen in a high school full of rednecks with these splashes.

The only known set of fully polished TRD wheels around. I have upwards of 150 hours in these wheels easily and that’s with the help of 4 other people…

Towards the end of the 2010 show season, my buddy had a spare cargo carrier that he needed out of his garage. It’s on lend to me and another buddy of mine. There are six of these known of in the states:
My wiretuck has been an ongoing project for years now. I have relocated over roughly 180 wires, two fuse boxes, and a battery by hand. I am just now getting to the point where I can shave the engine bay.
What is to come? ITB’s and some more unique things not done to the xB platform before. I am a lot wiser now and have much more experience under my belt. It just takes time and patients to build something how you envisioned and it will never truly be done.
